Liverpool in pole postion to sign youngster

Liverpool look set to sign Wycombe Wanderers rising star Jordan Ibe. Scouts from a host of premier league clubs have been watching the 16-year-old who is regarded as one of the brightest young prospects in England.

After a series of impressive performances as a substitute, he shot to fame with a superb goal against Sheffield Wednesday at the end of October in his first full start Jordan trained with Liverpool last summer and the coaching staff have kept a keen eye on the youngster.

As you can imagine all the usual suspects from the Premier League have been watching the talented lad, but Liverpool are thought to be favourites to land Ibe. With Kenny Dalglish and Daniel Comolli’s transfer policy of buying young British talent they have moved into pole position by setting up a deal to bring Jordan to the club next summer.
